Edward has been in the real estate business specifically with his company, Alain Pinel Realtors, for 9 years. Alain Pinel Realtors® are a top brokerage agency in the Bay Area. He has personal experience in transactions ranging from luxury properties to distressed properties.
He has moved his family five times and has experienced first-hand the challenges his clients face. He also knows how important it is to work with a Realtor® who is familiar with the area, can accurately measure property value, and successfully negotiate for the buyer or seller. Edward first moved to Menlo Park in 1979. Promotions and job assignments during his previous career took he and his family to other parts of the country, but each time they've returned to Menlo Park. Their children have attended both private and public schools in Menlo Park. Edward and his wife have been active in supporting the schools and several charitable organizations in the area. Their experience in the community enables him to share insights when selecting a neighborhood and a house.
Prior to real estate, Edward P. "Ned" Moritz completed a career in the logistics / freight transportation business. He started in Washington, DC representing the trucking industry before the U.S regulatory agencies and congressional staff. Next, he moved to Menlo Park to join Consolidated Freightways (CF) creating a nationwide pricing system, then moving to operations planning and then to be director of marketing. CF started the Con-way organization and Ned was promoted to general manager of Con-way's international ocean operation headquartered in Long Beach, CA. The Con-way HQ later moved to Ann Arbor, MI where Ned joined the executive team as vice president, marketing and branding. He regularly participated in negotiations and presentations to Fortune 100 accounts and led the rebranding of the CNF Corporation to Con-way Inc. Ned is a member of the board of directors of the West Bay Sanitary District and president of the Kiwanis Club of Menlo Park. He is a veteran of the US Air Force and holds a BS degree in transportation and an MBA in finance.
